Strings

Last year, in an attempt to tidy up my scrap buckets, I started string piecing on telephone book pages. Today I pulled out that project and made some more blocks, six to be precise. That didn’t really make a dent in my scraps or strings but at least it was a little progress forward. This quilt won’t get finished for a long while yet and that’s okay with me, as there are just some projects that are longterm no matter how quickly you can sew. I’ll just gather everything together, including the telephone book, and give it some space on the shelf until next time I feel like stringing along.
